"Bridget" is a new short film written by Anne Williamson and Brian Clancy.
Bridget Cleary was burned to death in 1895 by her husband who claimed she was a changeling. Many stories have been written and filmed about the case that rocked the world over 100 years ago causing uproar in a small rural village called Cloneen in Tipperary. The story became known as the last witch burning in Ireland.....
This short film was done in the hope the shadows of secrecy and shame can once and for all be banished from the little village and Bridgets name and grave can finally be marked with respect. She was buried at night with no mourners.
Film lasts for 40 minutes and members of the cast and the Director will be available for questions and a short talk afterwards.
Tea & coffee will be served in the Tearoom after the film.

Track Dogs are two Irishmen, an Englishman and an American, (Garrett Wall, Dave Mooney, Howard Brown & Robbie K.Jones), whose artistic name derives from the dark subterranean world of New York’s subway system.
Formed in the Autumn of 2006 in Madrid around the eclectic line-up of acoustic guitar, electric bass, trumpet and cajón, over the following 18 years they have added banjo, ukulele and mandolin as well as honing their four part vocal harmonies, now very much an integral part of their “sound”.
